DESCRIPTION

The Lower Hoko River Restoration Project determined restoration feasibility to restore up to 130 acres of priority salmon habitat for chinook, coho, steelhead, and chum salmon and result in a preliminary design for a selected project. The project designed for the restoration of in-stream channel and floodplain functions of the lower 3.4 river miles of the Hoko River in western Clallam County, WA. The project resulted in an assessment and restoration plan for the Lower Hoko River and preliminary designs for a trestle and wood removal project.
