Streamkeepers of Clallam County monitors water quality in area streams on a quarterly basis. However, impervious surfaces in the Lead Entity area have increased in recent years, with a potential increase in the contribution of stormwater to roadside ditches. The quantity and quality of stormwater contributions from roadside ditches to stream channels need to be identified and a prioritized list of improvement projects must be developed. This project advances habitat protection and restoration and could become a baseline for stormwater quality monitoring.
