DESCRIPTION
The Bourgault Farm was purchased by the Skokomish Tribe in 2011 for conservation purposes. The farm is borderedby a large scale US Army Corps of Engineers' (USACE) side channel reconnection project to the North and East, and is boarded by a SRFB
funded instream habitat restoration project (PRISM # 15-1205) on the mainstem to the south. The farm presents multiple additional habitat restoration opportunities that will be assessed, designed, and/or implemented through this proposal. Examples of potential habitat restoration actions on the old farm include side channel LWD enhancement, overflow channel creation, back channel habitat creation, and riparian enhancement
