DESCRIPTION

The goal of this project is to restore natural tidal influence and sediment transport in the Snow/Salmon estuary by replacing the existing causeway on Highway 101 with a longer, elevated structure. This project would be necessary in order to implement the Lower Snow.Salmon Reconnection. The current bridge is inadequate to handle the flow from both streams and would need to be replaced with a larger structure in order for any reconnection of Snow and Salmon creeks to occur.
