DESCRIPTION
This fee simple acquisition is part of the larger effort to protect high quality habitats and purchase impaired habitats for future restoration in the Snow/Salmon floodplain and estuary. The property is immediately adjacent to property owned by WA Dept of Fish and Wildlife and the Dept of Natural Resources, with a major WDFW research station located just upstream on Snow Creek. ESA listed salmonids use the property for habitat along with waterfowl and numerous other species of wildlife.
