DESCRIPTION

The Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group used this grant to widen Little Mission Creek's stream channel to provide salmon habitat. Several weirs were installed and gravel that had been obstructing passage beneath the bridge was removed. This project opened up 930 watershed acres of mostly forested land for salmonid habitat.
