DESCRIPTION
The Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group used this grant to replace a 36 inch concrete culvert (with a significant perch) that blocked fish passage through Johnson Creek. A 9ft x 6.5ft structural plate aluminum pipe arch culvert and 6 rock weirs were installed on site. This project opened up 400 acres of mostly undeveloped, forested watershed that includes 1.54 miles of spawning stream.
