DESCRIPTION

The Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group used this grant to replace Haven Lake's concrete dam with a wide concrete fish ladder that allowed fish passage. This project opened up 850 acres of watershed, including 1 mile of spawning stream, and 143 acres of over-wintering lakes and wetlands for salmonid habitat.
