DESCRIPTION
Restore tidal prism to 12 acres of salt marsh east of SR101 by either improving or removing access road, culverts, fill, and pilings. This would require property agreements with the private landowner, and will not proceed without their consent.

It has been shown through the evaluation of historical coastal maps, that the habitat in this area has been gradually altered by the land changes promoted by human development. The removal of these man-made structures will reestablish the connectivity to the larger estuarine complex.
