DESCRIPTION
The Eld Inlet Subbasin drains about 20 square miles, not including McLane and Swift Creeks which are in WRIA 13. Perry Creek is the southern most stream in WRIA 14. The stream originates in several valleys along State Route 8 and flows 4.3 miles to Mud Bay. The mouth is characterized by extensive marshes and mud flats. Marine shorelines, mud flats, and estuarine habitat support production of shellfish, marine fish, and anadromous fish (Washington Department of Fisheries 1975).

Description from the Salmonid Habitat Limiting Factors Water Resource Inventory Area 14, Kennedy-Goldsborough Basin. For more information including salmonid stock status see the previously stated document or the Salmon Habitat Protection and Restoration Plan for Water Resource Inventory Area 14, Kennedy-Goldsborough.
