This design-only project seeks to develop preliminary designs and projected construction costs for appropriate habitat structures between river mile 12 and 13 on the Deschutes River. Project activities will include geotechnical investigation and hydraulic modeling on approximately one mile of the river. Designs will be developed with the goal of increasing LWD where appropriate, enhancing riparian community, and reducing fine sediments. Project is intended to support the coho, steelhead, chinook, and coastal cutthroat present in the river.
