This is the SRP project page for the Skookumchuck elements of the PRISM projects #19-1770: CBS EAR Implementation and #20-1806: Early Action Reach Plantings. Constructed 2020-2021. 1.1 miles of river restored, 102 acres of riparian and upland habitat protected, 27 logjams installed, 30 acres invasives treatment, 67+ acres of native plantings. 3 landowner partnerships. Invasives treatment, native plantings, 5 years of maintenance and monitoring. In-water construction costs came to $1,847,331.79 and vegetation costs came to $775,511.68, for a total of $2,622,843.68 in construction and implementation costs. Project goals include reconnecting 10 floodplain acres, planting 60 floodplain acres, removing invasive plants along 1.1 miles of streambank, and treating 17 acres of upland habitat.
