The purpose of the Fry Creek Habitat Restoration and Flood Risk Reduction project is to improve water quality, restore salmon habitat, correct barriers contributing to salmonid mortality, provide public open space, and reduce flood risk in Fry Creek where it flows through Aberdeen and Hoquiam, underserved communities suffering from long-term economic depression.
