DESCRIPTION
This design-only project is proposed by the Quinault Indian Nation to remove a fish-blocking culvert with a bridge or larger culvert. The goal of project is to obtain a final design for an engineered stream crossing on the Camp 7 road on the Quinault Indian Reservation in order to ensure unimpeded fish passage once implemented through the construction phase. Camp 7 Road crosses an unnamed tributary to the Quinault River in Grays Harbor County. Once the culvert is replaced a total of 0.72 miles of spawning and rearing habitat would be made accessible to anadromous fish species at all life stages. Species include Chinook, coho, steelhead, searun cutthroat trout, and bull trout.
This planning project addressed a fish passage barrier to remove an existing culvert and replace with a bridge. Once the culvert is replaced a total of 0.72 miles of spawning and rearing habitat would be made accessible to anadromous fish species at all life stages. Species include Chinook, Coho, steelhead, sea run cutthroat trout, and bull trout.
