DESCRIPTION
The Quinault Indian Nation proposes a design-only project that will produce preliminary designs for two engineered stream crossings in the Quinault River basin. The project address crossings on the 9400 and 9110 Roads on the Quinault Indian Reservation in Grays Harbor County. Both barriers are on unnamed tributaries to Joe Creek in the Quinault River basin. Once the two culverts are replaced, a total of 0.89 miles of spawning and rearing habitat would be made accessible to anadromous fish species at all life stages. Species include coho, steelhead, searun cutthroat trout, and bull trout.
The Quinault Indian Nation has completed the Joe Creek Tributaries Design-Only Project that produced two engineered preliminary bridge designs for stream crossings in the lower Quinault River Basin. The project addressed barriers on the 9400 and 9110 Roads on the Quinault Indian Reservation in Grays Harbor County. Both culverts are located on unnamed tributaries to Joe Creek in the Quinault River basin. Once the two culverts are replaced, a total of 0.89 miles of spawning and rearing habitat will be made accessible for all life history stages of anadromous fish species. Species include Coho Salmon and Cutthroat Trout.
