WRIA: 20 Tangle Creek A - This 40 foot long, corrugated steel culvert is fout feet in diameter. The road fill has washed out and the culvert is plugged. Road fill material has deposited in the crossing, causing the stream to run subsurface throught he site, creating a total fish passage barrier much of the year. The estimated project cost is based on a 80' x 14' bridge. The project site is located near the mainstem Dickey River. Correcting this barrier would open 1.86 miles of valuable upstream spawning and rearing habitat for Chinook, chum, coho, cutthroat and steelhead.
Tangle Creek B - This 25 foot flong, round plastic culvert is two feet in diameter. This crossing will be abandoned. Correcting this barrier would provide access to 0.12 miles of valuable upstream spawning and rearing habitat for coho, cutthroat and steelhead.
Burly Creek - This 40 feet long culvert has an outfall drop of .13 meters. A new 7' x 40' round aluminum culvert will be placed opening 0.52 miles of valuable spawning habitat for Chinook, chum, coho, cutthroat and steelhead.
